David is based in Tamworth, Northants and currently runs his own designed and built Tornado chassis running a Vauxhall engine. David started his career with the club in 2011 in an ex Allen Herbert BMC Arrow which he raced during 2011 before obtaining the ex Daniel Pooley Van Diemen chassis in 2012 which saw David take his first hat trick at Great Yarmouth. During 2014 and 2014 David raced a newly build Pooley Scorpion chassis which saw further success come Davids way. David sold the car at the end of 2014 to focus on developing the Van Diemen based car which he raced to great effect until 2018 when the current car made its debut. David has been a prolific race winner securing the World Championship in 2016, the Points Championship in 2014 & 2016, European Championship in 2016 & 2017, National Championship in 2014 & 2015, British Champion in 2015, Southern Championship in 2014 and the East of England Championship in 2012. In addition to these championships, David has also won the Graham Hill trophy in 2019, the Derek Kisby trophy in 2017 and the Simon Pashley trophy in 2014
David is a first generation racer and started his career in 2008 in the Incarod formula running a Peugeot 106 before he built his Citroen AX GT and moved up the grades to red grade.
